Eco-piggy
Eco-piggy is a gel that provides the newborn and/or weak piglets of the necessary energy and proteins. Furthermore it is rich in nucleotides that supports the immune system and stimulate the food absorption. This gel is as opposed to some emulsions easier to apply and is better taken in by the piglet, with a correct application there is a much smaller chance of drooling.
The energy is supplied by short fatty chains in the oil (used with prematures in human food) and has as result that the general condition of the piglet improves.
The high level of egg powder - rich in antibodies/immunoglobulines - improves the resistance of the piglets against pathogens. This reduces the chance of gut problems which can cause a growth tedardation an is an important caus of death in young piglets.
