Green powder

Complementary feed for cows as support after calving Green Powder is rich in calcium and 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol glycoside or calcitriol, helping to absorb and regulate the calcium and phosphorus levels in the cow's blood during this critical period. Green powder can be given separately with a drench gun or as a supplement to the Emma calving drink (Drench plus). Adding green powder to the Emma calving drink (Drench plus) offers many advantages:

  • Rapid return of the cow's appetite
  • Within 8 hours the excretion of the afterbirth
  • No gastric dislocation
  • Less mastitis: Sphincter of the nipple tip closes better due to good calcium level in blood
  • Rarely stable disease or acetonemia
  • Rarely still hypocalcaemia in the days after calving
  • The cow back in production faster
